Recommended Schedule:
Slightly behind grade level: Weekly sessions, paired with targeted at-home reading practice between meetings.
Far below grade level: Two sessions per week to ensure consistent practice and faster momentum.

I’ve taught elementary school in Alaska for 23 years, dedicating my career to understanding how children learn to read, and overcome learning difficulties.
Holding a Master’s degree in Reading and National Board Certification in pre k-8th grade Literacy, my approach moves far beyond guesswork or leveled readers. I utilize rigorous, evidence backed Science of Reading principles to diagnose exact learning barriers and build a clear path for growth.
